Whats next?

There is no question that Madelynn has been an animal lover from the beginning. It wasnt until recently that we realized that love was not limited to fuzzy, cuddly "animals". As soon as the weather turned warm this year she wanted her dad:) to help her catch bugs. She wanted to keep them. And take care of them. As pets! So they would catch "something", and research it. Find out what to feed it. How to take care of it, etc. She would then keep it for a week of two. And then we would let it go.
So far we have had lady bugs, catapillars, a centepede, 50+ worms (those were my favorite because we didnt have to do anything with them. They just sat in a jar) and a praying mantis.
The new latest and greatest? 12 snails!

She found them while we were on a walk. Brian carried them home for her. And she has been taking care of them ever since. She feeds them. "Moists" them. Cleans out their home. She has done a very good job. We have been very impressed.
It has been 4ish weeks and she still loves them. How weird is that? Snails!
