There is no question that Madelynn has been an animal lover from the beginning. It wasnt until recently that we realized that love was not limited to fuzzy, cuddly "animals". As soon as the weather turned warm this year she wanted her dad:) to help her catch bugs. She wanted to keep them. And take care of them. As pets! So they would catch "something", and research it. Find out what to feed it. How to take care of it, etc. She would then keep it for a week of two. And then we would let it go.
So far we have had lady bugs, catapillars, a centepede, 50+ worms (those were my favorite because we didnt have to do anything with them. They just sat in a jar) and a praying mantis.
The new latest and greatest? 12 snails!
She found them while we were on a walk. Brian carried them home for her. And she has been taking care of them ever since. She feeds them. "Moists" them. Cleans out their home. She has done a very good job. We have been very impressed.
It has been 4ish weeks and she still loves them. How weird is that? Snails!

Happy Birthday Kennedy!
Kennedy turned one July 5th. She had two parties. One with grandma and grandpa Jackson. And one with grandma and grandpa Bishop. She loved her cake, but quickly dumped it to lick the frosting off her plate.
We are so proud of our little girl. Exactly one week before her birthday she decided to crawl. She is so lazy! I mean content:) Lets now hope that she decides to be ambitious enough to walk before she goes into nursery:) Pray with us. It is going to take a miracle!

Happy Birthday, Sheridan!
Sheridan turned nine on June 17th.

She had a Hannah Montana themed party with her favorite girlfriends. They got a make-over, and did some girlie crafts like decorating totes and sunglasses. There was music blaring the entire time. And of course a lot of singing and dancing. I (Kerstin) even taught them the Hoe Down, Throw Down. (For those of you that know what that is, it was not as easy to learn as I had thought. ha ha) Later that night Grandparents came over for cake and ice cream. It was a very good day. Maybe even the best day of her entire life:)
